From composition screening to a fabricated and characterized high-entropy alloy.
Challenge
Identify a high-entropy alloy in the Cu–Al–Fe–Mn–Ni system that balances multiple property targets, without making and testing thousands of compositions by hand.
Approach
Candidates were screened on Trumet's multi-criteria design platform. The strongest were fabricated, and samples were characterized against the predicted properties.
